Constitution

The club is run by a management team comprising of 7 people from various walks of life, some retired. Their hard work and 'can do' attitude have resulted in the great facilities the club has to offer and contributes greatly to the convivial and harmonious atmosphere within the club. 

The management team consists of;

Tim Wall - Treasurer 

Bill Hunter - Safety Advisor, Instructor and Examiner 

Rick Plews - Secretary, Instructor and Examiner 

Ian Jones - Instructor and Examiner

David Beere - Management Team Assistant 

David Oakley - Website Maintainer and Management Team Assistant

Peter Roberts - Management Team Assistant

None management team member

Ian Mills - Website Maintenance

A few people have put a large amount of work in to the club and the management team reserves the right to protect the reputation of the club, the facilities and its members by either refusing membership or removing membership from anyone found jeopardising all the hard work carried out or abusing the facilities at the club. 

Paperwork and formalities are kept to a minimum with as few management team meetings as possible. However, accounts are kept and are open to any member. 

There is an annual AGM usually held in December each year in which the management team presents the financial accounts to its members and states the successes and failures of the club throughout the year. At the AGM we look for ideas from its members on how to improve the facilities and events which can be held.  Also to have a blooming good chin wag about all things RC!!!  It usually ends a curry of some sort and much laughter! 

New ideas are always welcome!!! Anyone can contact any of the management team members by email to propose new ideas. 

Instructors and Examiners 

Instructors and examiners at the club are: 

Bill Hunter - mode 1

Ian Jones - mode 1 (but can fly mode 2) 

Rick Plews - mode 2
